Sunshine on my shoulders...


Sunshine...on my shoulders...makes me happy.








Sunshine...in my eyes...can make me cry.
















Sunshine...on the water...looks so lovely,














Sunshine...almost always makes me high!













If I had a day that I could give to you...
I'd give to you a day just like today.
If I had a song that I could sing for you...
I'd sing a song to make you feel this way.

May your day be filled with warm sunshine...

    Oh Jane, I want you to know how much this touched my heart today — in a good way. I'm finding the thing that cheers me up the most is seeing and being around dogs. Beautiful, beautiful pups!

    Dear Jane
    Well you don't know how much this has touched my heart!!! I assume you know the origins of this song by John Denver and the movie it premiered in.. 'Sunshine' Both were playing when my mum was sick with cancer back 1975.... I feel like I have just had a visit from her reading this post.... Coincidently I was just telling a young neighbour about this movie and song last week.... how strange... haven't thought about it in years...

    Jane, thanks for the comments! I can't believe we live so close. Thank you so much for the info on the shell store in Clearwater. I have been looking for a local place to purchase the shells I can't find. I actually work in Dunedin 2 days a week so I can stop by if and when I need to. Hope you are enjoying your weekend :)
