For the past few days, I have been unable to leave comments on many of my favorite blogs. It's not that I have abandoned all of you...I truly have tried...and tried...and tried.... But Blogger is not being friendly to me. I have also noticed the lists of Followers is missing not only on my blog, but several others' blogs.
Am I the only one experiencing this? Are there any solutions you might share with me (us)?

I am hearing the same thing from everyone but have not heard of any successful solutions. There were a few blogs I wanted to follow today but since the follower lists appear to be MIA, I simply added them to my Google Reader until Blogger fixes its problems. I will be offline until Tuesday and really hope they have it fixed by then!

ReplyDeleteI too am having big problems like you. I have played around with it and if you comment as anonymous you can leave a comment. Unfortunately alot of blogs don't allow you to comment as anonymous...mine included. Yours does so hence the comment.
I really appreciate all you visits to the Beach House and your lovley comments. Lets hope Blogger gets it's act together soon.

I got your note. I tried to find a fix for the lost followers to no avail. I'm hoping this is the reason not many haven't entered my giveaway...

I am so glad i am not the only one... i too have had a lot of trouble for several day in blog land... same stuff you are dealing with.

Another friend of mine told me the same thing and when I checked on it, they had it listed as a known issue they are working on. Then another blogger discovered that if she changed her settings to have a "pop-up" comment box it solved her problem on both ends, getting and leaving comments. This is what I have and you already left a comment on my post and I see Carolyn had to post as anonymous on yours, but she had no problem on mine. So, I would suggest going in and changing your settings and see if that works. If it does would you post that as an update on your blog to let other know?
ReplyDeleteAs for the Follower list, mine is missing and some of my html gadjets are not working. I hope they get this all fixed soon or I'm thinking of switching to Wordpress. I read that it is easy to migrate everything to them.

To all....I tried Shellbelle's suggestion re: the pop-up box. No change...I am still unable to access most of the blogs I follow.

I had the same problem, then I discovered that if when you sign in, uncheck the box that says "stay signed in" (or something like that) Then I was able to comment. weird

ReplyDeleteHi there - I finally seem to have mine fixed. Thanks for alerting me. I had some people were able to leave comments - some weren't and I had no problem leaving comments on other blogs. I changed my comments setting to a pop up box and that seemed to work. I hope these problems are done with!! Have a happy Sunday afternoon.

I finally found some time and couldn't leave any comments. Blogger kept kicking me back to the sign in page. It seems to be working...for now.
