This is not "it". |
Of course, any project around here means so many more things have to be done...
such as....
moving furniture...
cleaning the pool...
repairing the walls (new spackle) in the hall...
dabbling with the car...
NAPPING...
WATCHING the RAYS baseball games...
and the
AUBURN baseball games...
You get the idea.....
So.....in just a few more days...(or weeks)...I will have my longed-for water feature. Yippee!!!
Maybe it will be done in time for my birthday... It's in July!

How exciting, a new water feature.. I so love them...
ReplyDeleteJane, I wanted to thank you for your visit to my blog and your sweet words about my military family... were neighbors you know. I'm in Clearwater just across the street from Ruth Eckerd Hall.
Nice to meet you!
Sandy
Love your water fountain. However, you made me tired reading other to do things.
ReplyDeleteLove the water feature...I can imagine the sound will be so calming. And, FYI...you sound like my house. One tiny project always leads to several others before the original one gets done, if it does...oh and if the Ray's are on TV...forget it!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Joni
hahahahahahahahahaha.....MEN. Can you imagine if it took us that long to get things done around the house???? you'll love your birthday fountain!!
ReplyDeleteThey look so beautiful...but they are kind of noisy...I had to pull the plug on mine...that constant dribble drove me crazy...I'm sure yours will be much nicer though....
ReplyDeleteLOL! We're always doing a million projects at once, but I'm glad it will be done by your birthday - what a lovely gift :O)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting us today! Hope you have a fabulous week.
Hugs,
Marie
OH now you got me curious about what it will look like!
ReplyDeleteI bet it will be wonderful, I just love fountains and such!
Cute post too!
Cindy
Excellent overview, it pointed me out something I didn’t realize before. I should encourage for your wonderful work. I am hoping the same best work from you in the future as well. Thank you for sharing this information with us.
ReplyDeleteHey there, thanks for visiting me. Cute photos. I made my own water fountain last year. It is made of sea shells. Hope you get yours soon.
ReplyDeleteStopping in to say Hi and thanks for dropping by my garden!
ReplyDeleteI guess men are the same everywhere ~ I call it the dominoe effect where one thing leads to another and to get that done you must do something else....etc. hehe!
The water fountain will be fun! A 'few' more days won't be so bad after waiting 7 years! ;~P
Blessings! (and Happy Mother's Day and Birthday in July!)
I can't wait to see your fountain! Seven years *giggles* we have had a few projects that have taken us years to do....
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about a cattle prod to use when they stop for ballgames and naps? ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean weeks? You tell that hubby of yours that I will be expecting to see it up and running when I come for dinner next week!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea it was sitting in the garage for 7 years, that is just too funny. Okay, no more excuses, tell him I'll be posting a pic of the FINISHED fountain, so if he doesn't want me to embarrass the heck out of him, he better be outside on the lanai this weekend — and not napping!
Hugs
Hi Jane,
ReplyDeleteI've just spent the last few minutes catching up on all the posts I missed on your blog...Mr. J. left the house for the afternoon and I'm having a blast into the past!!!
Oooooh, a water feature, you say? Mother's Day? Wow, I really AM behind!
And, I'm smiling about the sign...yes, the grammar counts and I WON'T "Get over it!"
Miss you and Rhonda and Florida. Next November...we have a date for drinks at Sharky's, remember?
Jane it will be so enjoyable, I love water in almost any form...so beautiful to have a fountain!

ReplyDeleteHow exciting. I can remember the lights for the outside sat on a shelf in the barn for 7 years before we finally got them out and going.. guess good things come to those that wait..lol.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great w/k.
hugs ~lynne~
Your men helpers sound a lot like mine.
ReplyDeleteBlessings Kelsie
