What's Wrong with this Sign?

While shopping at the local Marshall's store, I found this...

Do you see anything wrong with the sign?

It took 5 employees...including the store manager...before someone recognized the mistake. And that "someone" was a kindergarten teacher who was standing in line to check out.

I got the sign for 25% off the sale price!

(The sign should read:  "If you're not barefoot, THEN you're overdressed"

Then! Yes! I saw it too lol. Yay. Those little things drive me crazy. Good spot. ;) Also, thank you, thank you for your ideas with your last email. I am doing a fiesta just like YOU for sure. I'm excited about it. I will keep you posted.

A "sign" of our times and our educational system.

I think they should have given you the sign and a gold star for spotting the error!

Hahaha, I had to read it a few times, but I knew there was something wrong and I HAD to find it. That's great!

bare foot and over dressed...... Whats the relationship? I don't think any connection between them.

Good one. Where are you going to put the sign? Typos pop out at me all the time.

I saw it immediately, but I am a former English teacher...spell check must have been busted.....

Funny, but sad! I recently had lunch at a restaurant that had their specials posted on a chalkboard sign - it had two errors on it. I wrote the errors on a napkin and handed it to the server. Within moments someone corrected the sign.

So, my artistic friend, what are you going to do with your new sign?

I can't believe that, Jane! It always amazes me when things like that happen. I have a little tea for one pot (a gift) that has a quote about entertaining angels, and they got the quote wrong on it. I'd have to see it to remember, but it was a similar gaffe as the one above.

I'm late visiting from my post last week (still recuperating from that old injury which has kicked up again), but despite my tardiness, I still wanted to thank you for your sweet comments. I appreciate them and you more than you know.

XO,

Sheila

I think that sign is a case of "many will see and few will notice"

I actually bought this same sign, I did not realize the mistake until the very second it was put on the wall and it jumped out at me. I returned it, all the others had the same mistake. I thought about fixing it but decided it would look bad. 4 employees did not see what I was talking about when i got there.
