MY FIRST ANNIE SLOAN PROJECT...

Found...one cabinet at the local Hospice Thift Store...HALF-PRICE DAY...only $17.00!!!

Bought...1 can Annie Sloan, Emperor Silk (Bright red) paint, clear and dark waxes...more than $17, but well worth it!!!

A little elbow grease...one door with dark wax, the other with clear wax. Lots more to do...

A beautiful, new cabinet to hold my dishes!

I LOVE THIS PAINT!

OMGoodness. What an upgrade. I love the Hospice thrifts. They are one of the few that hasn't lost their minds on their pricing. My old fav was the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch that was at Curlew & Alt 19. Is it still there?

wha?????? 17 bucks??? Now THAT, my dear, is what I call a bargain!!! and oh my! what an awesome job you've done on the re-finishing. I don't understand all that waxing you painters talk about on furniture pieces...but man, oh man....guess I need to learn!! That is such a cool finished piece. Good job !!!
