33 YEARS!!!

Today is the 33rd anniversary of the day I joined my life with the man of my dreams! Life with my hubby has been quite an adventure. We have lived in 10 homes, 5 states (some multiple times) and have gone through 12 companies. We've raised 3 wonderful sons...and fed hundreds of their friends! (at least that's what if seems like!!!) And thanks to him I have even adopted Auburn as my favorite football team! War Eagle! Through it all, we've maintained, not only love and respect for each other, but a sense of humor...and an "outside of the box" approach to life. His wise counsel and compassion has guided not only me, but our sons and many of their friends. And his gift of conveying God's word and his passion for truth has had a great impact on the lives of so many people.
Many have asked how hubby and I have stayed happily married for so many years. Although we joke that he's been traveling for more than half our married lives, we maintain that it's totally through the grace of God. All the personality profiles, psychological profiles, and spiritual gift tests we have taken throughout the years have basically said we were incompatible...that marriage would not work. We always counter that God knows best!
Happy Anniversary, Honey! I love you!!!
I look forward to 33 more years...if not more!

What a lovely surprise to see your comment on our blog! It reminded me of the pink and blue corsage Mr. M gave me for the father/ daughter date. I remember pressing the flowers and saving it for many years.

Happy belated anniversary! We named our youngest Jane...cheery memories.

What a sweet example of God's love! (And I found your blog via the comment on my sister's blog.) What fun to see you guys again! I constantly think of you guys when we watch Thoroughly Modern Millie (one of my all time favorites! and my husband's too...:) )
I also thought of you when we lived in AL several years ago and remembered that I had previously been introduced to the idea of Auburn vs. Alabama all those years ago as a child.
