We're in Central Florida and there is nothing but brown and green other than the lovely flowers everyone has planted. Very nice photos.

Wherever you live, nature seems to find a way to share some fall leaves with us. Nice job with yours.

Hi Jane, it's fun to see fall in Southern Florida. those sea grape leaves are really pretty. (I have those in my silk inventory that i sell!) Sure different from fall in the midwest.

I just scrolled down and saw your post on The Breakers. I stayed there with my husband many yrs. ago. In fact we were there the night Princess Diana was in her car accident. Such a place to stay!! Wow! He was at a conference for work and like you I decided to tag along. Such a fabulous experience!

Wow! What a vibrant red on that leaf. I guess you have to enjoy what color you can get before the leaves fall. ;)

Visiting from Susan's Outdoor Wednesday. Also just joined you as a follower.

Jane, what a hoot! Now, we do have fall in St. Augustine... it's just that the colors on the ground are pink and yellow from rain trees and this yellow plant I posted today that I have no idea what the name is. If you know, please let me know! LOL!

Happy Outdoor Wednesday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

The mottled ones would make a jump off point for a quilt color palette.

God does such a wonderful job of displaying his artwork, doesn't he! The Sea Grape leaves are gorgeous, so different looking.

I've been enjoying the warm Autumn we've had (so far). Our colors have just been wonderful this year.

Just found your blog via A Southern Daydreamer...think I'll follow you. I like your stories! :D

What beautiful colors in the Sea Grapes. I didn't realize they would turn that gorgeous red.

I slipped down and read all of your posts on Palm Beach. Being an architecture lover, I loved driving through Palm Beach and gawking!!! I just wanted to be able to get through the gates and have home tours too. It is so beautiful there. The cost of the homes was mindboggling when we were there about 4 or 5 years ago. I am sure it still is, but it was sure fun to see how the other side lives.

I just scrolled down and saw your pictures of Palm Beach FL. We have been to Florida more than 10 times and always passed that Sign Palm Beach on our way to the Keys but never went there. MIssed a chance I see now. It must be beautiful there. Maybe we will go back one more time next year or so and maybe it will be possible to go visit it then. Keep hoping :)))

I love Sea Grape plants, in fact, I had one planted in my yard at the house. The place we stayed at on Sanibel had one trimmed into the perfect shape of a tree, it was gorgeous.

What a perfect post for Fall in Florida!

to bad it falls so quickly. It could last a bit longer.
Thanks for telling me about your "war eagles". It was interesting.
