Christmas Wishes...from our house, to yours....

MERRY CHRISTMAS to each and every one of you...

In honor of our beloved Auburn Tigers, we used "tiger" stripes in our decor...

The "joy" sign is actually a decorative piece, covered with aluminum foil...the letters are painted with metallic red over metallic copper...Mac Daddy's idea. (He has his moments!)

This Nativity set was carved by a good friend. It's truly a treasured item...

We found this little Nativity set at a craft fair in Kingsport, TN, many years ago...

This was one of our first "married" ornaments...Baby Jesus is made from wood shavings...found in Dillsboro, NC.
As you can see, we used leopard touches this year...I have to admit, I love it!

Just a corner of the mantle...This is only a small portion of my Santa collection... The Santa holding the goose was carved by MacDaddy. The mantle was decorated with our antique spools, these Santas, silver bells and "coastal" pine swags. It's very simple...
No Christmas tree is complete without Auburn tigers...and Aubie! (War Eagle!!!)
May the peace and joy that surrounds the birth of our Christ fill you and your families.

With love...
Jane

Oh Jane, you & your football mania, so cute:-) Sitting here looking at the sweet Santas on the mantle got me to thinking about all the different things Santa holds. I have a little blue one holding a squirrel, LOL!

Thank you for your sharing your pretty artwork, your home & your mom's stories this year. You always bring a smile to my face. I hope your family's celebration is filled with love & joy.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas :-)

The best is the candlelight service on Christmas Eve...so calm and peaceful before the chaos of celebration comes on! Have fun today...we're heading to the beach after breakfast and presents :) first time with my feet up this week!!!

Tiger stripes and leopard prints, this is why I love you so! Lol, you just have such a creative touch Jane and it all looks wonderful.

My favorites are the hand-carved pieces, so special. I love the pics of ornaments that everyone has shared that have a story, a special time or a special person behind them.

Now I'm the one who's sick, I think I caught if from you or Tracy virtually. Hope your having a great time this week with your hubby. We'll get together soon after.

Happy New Year!!!!

Hello Jane,

I am playing catch up... I love all your holiday decorations and special touches! Love the animal prints ribbons and bows! I especially love the carved Nativity set your friend made. Your JOY sign turned out great! I was hoping you would post it so I could see the finished results.

Hugs,
Tracy
